Event Details
Ghanchakkar, standing at 1,532 metres (5,026 ft), is one of the highest peaks in Maharashtra under the Sahyadri mountain ranges in western India. This towering summit holds immense value for trekkers as one of the last remaining frontiers of untouched Sahyadri wilderness. Its true importance lies in its isolation, it serves as a pristine biodiversity sanctuary where rare endemic flora and massive, post-monsoon wild flower ecosystems thrive completely undisturbed.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Friday: Departure
6:00 PM: Depart from Hyderabad to Manmad by train.
Day 2 – Saturday:
8:15 AM: Arrive at Manmad.
9:30 AM: Begin our scenic road journey in a private vehicle enroute with a tasty breakfast stop along the way.
12:30 PM: Lunch en route.
2:30 PM: We will cover Waterfalls and spend some time
3:30 PM : We will head towards Shirpunje Base village
5:00 PM: Reach base village and relax
Day 3 – Sunday
3:30 AM: Wake up and freshen up.
4:00 AM: Start ascending to Bhairavgad (Shirpunje) and followed by Ghanchakkar peak (Given 6-7 hours to GoUp + descend)
12:00 PM: Reach base village, have lunch.
1:00 PM: Start from Base village and Leave to Manmad Junction.
8:00 PM : Catch train AJANTA EXPRESS (17063) leave from Manmad Junction
Day 4 – Monday: Arrival
9:00 AM: Reach Hyderabad.

Clothing
- 2 pairs of clothes (Full Sleeves preferred, Strictly no jeans.)
- T-shirt, preferably long-sleeved.
- Shoes with good sole grip are a must. (Strictly no sandals or chappals.)
- Cap, hat, goggles, and sunscreen. (Optional)
- Sweater and raincoat as per the weather.
- No jewelry, including finger rings or earrings.

- A rucksack (30-50L) with rain cover. No trolley/briefcase.
- 3 liters of water (no compromise), plate, and spoon.
- Head torch with extra batteries.
- Sleeping bag/blanket.
- Plastic cover to carry trash.
- Toiletries: paper tissue, brush, toothpaste, sanitizer, towel.
- Some snacks to eat along the hike. (Optional)

- Strictly no alcohol, intoxicants, strong drinks, or smoking from the start to the end of the event.
- All members should exercise social responsibility during the event and refrain from littering, shouting in wilderness areas, or engaging in any activities that could disrupt the natural ecology. A fine of Rs. 1000 will be charged if found littering.
- Event hosts retain the authority to adjust the itinerary as needed, including the addition or exclusion of members, and modifications to routes, activities, timings, and durations, depending on prevailing circumstances and weather conditions.
- The event host's decision is final in all matters. Our primary concern is ensuring everyone's safety, and we greatly appreciate your cooperation in this regard.

Train tickets will be booked based on current availability and RAC status, prioritizing options with the highest chances of confirmation.
🔹 Phase 2 (Late Registrations):
For those who join later, if regular tickets are unavailable, Tatkal tickets will be booked a day before departure (subject to availability).

- Ticket confirmation is not guaranteed until successfully booked.
- If we're unable to confirm your ticket, a refund will be processed after deducting standard IRCTC cancellation charges (approx. ₹60–₹120).
